Before I found a full time job, I worked in TC as a freelance promoter when I was studying in university. At TC, I was given so many opportunities to learn and grow. I wasn’t just treated as a part time promoter but I was treated as family. I was given opportunities to train other newer promoters and even helped to manage a team of promoters too.
I will never forget how in 2018, TC gave me the opportunity to go on a business trip to Hong Kong. It was no ordinary trip- my expenses was fully paid for. Through the trip, I was given the opportunity to meet the Hong Kong team and to gain exposure. TC believes that what we lack in experience, we make up with having exposure. We work hard and celebrated together. In fact, I’m just one of the many that we’re given opportunities to travel overseas...
Right now, as the COVID-19 situation evolves, the current promoters are not able to work in stores. The owners of TC came up with the #TCcares initiative to take care of their promoters. When I heard about it, I was so moved. Which company would pay their freelance promoters a monthly salary just to take care of them during such a crisis?
And it’s not just their current part time promoters; TC even thought about their ex-promoters. “Just as you have taken care of TC, we want to take care of you this season too”. I was shocked and touched beyond words.
Thank you TC owners. Thank you for loving us even when we’re not in TC anymore. In fact, even though I’ve already found a full time job, you still thought about me and chose to bless me this season. You’ve inspired me to be generous, others centred and to love with a big heart. TC will always have a special place in my heart.
